Shenzhen Ruijie Intelligent Co., Ltd. is committed to providing customers with high-performance microwave radar induction modules to meet the needs of smart home, smart lighting, smart security and other fields. The following are our guidelines and precautions for customers to ensure that you can use our microwave radar induction modules efficiently and safely.
1. structure design and installation considerations
- Antenna without shelter:Make sure that the front of the antenna of the radar module is free from any metallic obstructions.
- Proper spacing:The distance between the antenna and the housing should be greater3.5mm, the shell thickness is recommended not to exceed4mmto maintain optimum sensitivity.
- Avoid metal structure interference:If the product has an inevitable metal structure, ensure that the radiation angle with the antenna is greater60degrees to avoid sensing blind spots.
- Antenna height:The antenna plane of the radar sensor should be higher than the nearby ground plane by at least5mm.
2. power supply interference and external component interference
- Supply voltage matching:Ensure that the supply voltage matches the module requirements, if necessary useLDOStable voltage.
- Driving capacity:The auxiliary power supply shall have sufficient driving capacity, at least of the operating current of the module.2.5times more.
- Ripple requirements:Low frequency ripple should be less50mV, the high frequency ripple is less500mVAvoid false radar triggering.
Coexistence of 3. radar sensors with other wireless devices
- Space isolation:Try to physically stagger the radar antenna from other wireless device antennas.
- Time isolation:Shielding radar sensor signals during IoT module communication.
- Frequency Isolation:Adjust the radar sensor frequency to avoid other wireless communication frequencies.
Testing and installation of 4. products
- Penetration Capability:Microwave radar can penetrate thin wood and glass walls, but not solid brick walls.
- Avoid dense distribution interference:Radar sensors should be distributed in parallel to avoid direct illumination.
- Installation spacing:When the whole lamp is installed, the distance between radar induction lamps shall be at least1.5m, aging test scenario at least50cm.
- Sensing distance:The actual sensing distance is affected by many factors, including hanging height, site openness, and tester characteristics.
- Avoidance of vibration effects:Do not install the radar sensor in areas where vibration may occur, such as the air outlet of the air conditioner.
- Avoid facing metal equipment:Install to avoid the radar antenna facing large metal equipment or pipes.
5. development and debugging keywords
- Gain and Sense Threshold:Reasonably cooperate with these two parameters to achieve the ideal induction effect.
- Self-excited phenomenon:A variety of factors may lead to self-excitation and need to be eliminated through debugging.
- Allowance and bottoming:Set aside sufficient margin during debugging and probe the limit parameters of the radar module to ensure stability during mass production.
Service and Experience of 6. Ruijie Intelligence
- One to one service:We provide personalized technical service and guidance for each customer.
- Module model variety:We offer a variety of models of modules to meet the needs of different product structures and scenarios.
